The 3rd Meeting of the NERITES Project was successfully held at the Atlantis Consulting offices from February 5-6, 2025, in Thessaloniki, Greece. This significant milestone brought together partners to present the progress achieved thus far. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing project partners to participate both in person and virtually, which facilitated comprehensive planning for the project’s upcoming steps and activities.
During the presentations, partners highlighted the key developments and achievements of the project, setting the stage for particularly constructive discussions. These exchanges allowed partners to share views and concerns, deepening collaboration. The reports covered scientific and technological achievements and outlined future challenges, paving the way for the next phases of the project. Additionally, the discussions focused on the technological advancements of NERITES and strategized forthcoming steps for its implementation.
At the conclusion of the two-day meeting, participants had the opportunity to take part in an alternative tour of the city’s historic center. This experience, part of the XpRienceThess tourism product, incorporated digital Extended Reality applications seamlessly integrated into the routes, enhancing the visibility of Thessaloniki’s invaluable historical monuments.
The success of this meeting has reinforced the collaborative spirit of the NERITES project partners and solidified the framework for future innovations. As we move forward, the insights gained from this meeting will undoubtedly contribute to refining our strategies and achieving our project goals.
