NERITES was proudly featured at the European Maritime Day (EMD), held from May 21st to 23rd, 2025, in Cork, Ireland. Organized by the European Commission, in partnership with the Cork City Council and the Irish Department of Environment, Climate and Communications, EMD is Europe’s flagship annual gathering for the maritime community. It brings together ocean professionals to collaborate, exchange ideas, and promote sustainable blue economy solutions.
The NERITES project was represented by ATLANTIS Consulting at Stand 53. The event hosted over 1,285 stakeholders, offering a unique platform for NERITES to connect with experts in marine policy, innovation, conservation, and community engagement.
EMD 2025 offered a diverse program of plenary sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and networking activities, creating the perfect setting for projects like NERITES to gain visibility and spark meaningful collaborations. The event highlighted how maritime heritage can play a vital role in shaping Europe’s environmental, cultural, and economic future.
