The NERITES project was presented during the iPhotoCult Policy Meeting, held online on 12 May 2026, under the title “Safeguarding the Future of Our Past”. The event brought together participants from EU-funded projects, research organisations and European institutions to discuss future approaches for the sustainable preservation of Cultural Heritage.
During the meeting, our coordinator, Jörg Hermsdorf from LZH, provided an overview of the NERITES system and technologies, highlighting the project’s contribution to advanced solutions for the monitoring and protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
NERITES’ participation in the iPhotoCult Policy Meeting further strengthened collaboration with related EU initiatives and contributed to the broader dialogue on innovation and policy priorities for Underwater Cultural Heritage preservation.
